Commissions
All work is made to order. A commission begins with an inquiry and is confirmed only once both parties have agreed on the object, timeline, and price in writing.
A deposit of 50% is required before production begins. The remaining balance is due before the work leaves the studio.
Lead time
Current lead time is stated on the commission page and updated regularly. Quoted timelines are estimates. Ceramics cannot be rushed without compromising the result — delays within reason are part of the process.
Variations
Each piece is made by hand. Dimensions, surface texture, and colour will vary slightly from reference images. This is not a defect. If you require exact replication, please discuss this before placing a commission.
Cancellations
Once production has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If the commission is cancelled before production, the deposit will be returned in full less any material costs already incurred.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery within the Netherlands is arranged directly. International shipping is coordinated with the client and charged at cost. Risk passes to the client upon handover to the carrier. We pack carefully — if damage occurs in transit, please photograph and report it within 48 hours.
Returns
Made-to-order work cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged or materially different from what was agreed. Defects must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam.
